Advanced ergonomics optimised foare 

Advanced ergonomics optimised foare the canopy of médipréma’s Satis + incubator has been designed so that nursing staff can easily access the baby thanks to its two large lateral swivelling doors with two portholes and a dual-leaf door on the head and feet side. The numerous openings present on the canopy help optimise care of the baby (11 Orifices for easily passing sensors and pipes).

The sliding mattress (rotating as optional extra) is ideal for for an easy access to the neonate head, to facilitate precise and tactful gestures.

Furthermore, the spacious PMMA canopy ensures perfect visibility of the baby on 5 sides.

The incubator is equipped with numerous storage areas and is available in an variable height adjustement model to optimise the working position of medical teams.

 

A reliable and intuitive thermoregulation and humidification system without compromising the baby’s comfort 

Médipréma’s Satis + incubator has a precise, reliable and intuitive thermoregulation system with five temperature regulation modes.

These include the air and skin regulation modes found on all médipréma incubators, along with a Stop heating mode which stops the incubator regulating temperature and humidity while maintaining the renewal of air inside the canopy (monitoring of the baby’s skin temperature continues to be possible), a twins mode suitable for simultaneous monitoring of two newborns via two skin probes and a tendresse mode to secure skin-to-skin sessions.

Médipréma has designed a unique feet-head (and not frontal) ventilation system that directs the warm air along the walls of the canopy ensuring that the required temperature is maintained inside. It also ensures safe access to the baby when the doors are opened with no risk of burns. The Satis + neonatal intensive care incubator benefits from a servocontrolled humidification system (automatic mode available) with easy access to the water reservoir and a visual and sound alarm if the water level falls too low.

These different modes are easy to programme via the incubator’s intuitive LCD colour touch screen, which can be used to view the information in real time in graph form. It also offers good visibility of parameters and alarms with the option of contact-free alarm cancellation (all the saved data is accessible on PC for processing or storage).
