Médipréma’s B’bloo phototherapy blanket enables effective treatment of jaundice and offers versatility of use. The light treatment is delivered to the infant via a fiberoptic blanket, thus enabling simple, effective contact therapy (the infant is placed directly against the light source). The fiberoptic blanket has been specially designed to obtain a perfectly uniform light flow over the whole blanket. The blue LED light source selected by médipréma supplies luminous flux of >3.3 mW/cm². Two intensity settings are possible (full power or 50%).
A device adaptable to all situations
Médipréma’ B’bloo phototherapy blanket is readily portable thanks to its control unit equipped with a handle for easy lifting. This portable solution enables effective, reliable use both in hospital and at home.
The B’bloo blanket is suitable for use in various environments : in an incubator, on a radiant warming table, in a cot, in a parent’s or nurse’s arms. It can be used along with other phototherapy devices, such as a Leddy bloo phototherapy hood, thereby increasing the treatment intensity.
