By combining the comfort of a memory foam mattress with the immobilising properties of microbeads, médipréma’s Carewave mattress offers a solution to the issues of baby safety and comfort during transport.
- The visco-elastic memory foam mattress forms a genuine mould of the baby’s body. Its soft comfort reduces discomfort related to jolts during transport
- The microbead filling guarantees support of the baby. More firmly supported, he/she will feel more secure and therefore less agitated during transport
With its size optimised for use in a médipréma Nite transport incubator, the special foam and microbead transport mattress is placed directly on top of the mattress and accommodates newborns in ideal comfort conditions.
Médipréma’s Carewave foam and microbead mattress specially for transport can be attached to the mattress tray using Magic Strips. These ultra-soft, touch-fastening flexible microfibre strips can be very easily attached and removed.
Médipréma’s Carewave foam and microbead mattress is light and easy to install. It can be removed just as easily in order to rapidly position the baby on a hard surface if a technical procedure is necessary.
Its bi-elastic polyurethane cover is suitable for skin contact and is easily cleaned using disinfectant wipes.
