Designed for general practitioners, specialists and certain paramedical professions, the Med’X ABS illuminator range is ideal for reading radiology films. This range has been designed to provide an aesthetic touch while ensuring optimal reading conditions for medical personnel, thanks to its “daylight” type light source, less aggressive for the eyes and avoiding any dazzle effect when interpreting films.
These illuminators have a 3 mm-thick acrylic diffuser screen and can be easily wall-mounted using fixing slots on the back of the device. Easy to use, they light up using a bipolar switch with incorporated indicator light or using an electric dimmer switch (depending on the models). Their white box frame with extruded twin-material PVC and injected ABS (10/10 epoxy-treated sheet metal rear plate) facilitates cleaning.
Med’x illuminators are available in 1, 2, 3 and 4 horizontal panel versions.

- Light source : straight fluorescent tubes, "daylight " type, colour temperature > 5500° Kelvin.
- Diffuser screen : Perspex opalin di user, thickness 3 mm.
- Lighting intensity : homogeneous (DIN standard 6856, central point 2000 CD/ sq. m) limited to the display format for 36 x 43 cm X-ray photographs by blacking strips to avoid glare during examination.
- Film holder : steel rollers. Hardwearing and totally reliable. Transversal nylon wire with sliding clips .
- Lighting control : bipolar switch (I) with incorpora ted indicator light or new electronic dimmer (V), E.M.C (Electromagnetic Compatibility) approved.
- Reflector : central.
- Viewing areas : extended only.
- Mains cord : standard, 2 poles + earth.
- Mains electricity supply : 230 V, 50 Hz (for other voltages, consult us).
